Kristi Pelzel has been involved in digital and broadcast media for the past seven years. Her roles have included sound recordist, writer, producer, videographer, photographer, animator, user experience design, and editor. She’s worked at The White House, Supreme Court, FBI, DEA, U.S. Postal Service, United Nations, and the Defense Logistics Agency, just to name a few. As her role evolves, to stay ahead of the future of communications, she’s diving into studying and taking on more data storytelling projects using Adobe Creative Cloud, Excel, and Tableau. 

 

Kristi has BA in Communications and Digital Technologies, and a minor in Motion Picture Television, from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, a MicroMasters from Arizona State University’s Thunderbird School in International Business Management, and a MicroMasters in Design Thinking from Rochester Institute of Technology. She is now a graduate student in the Communications, Culture, and Technology (CCT) department at Georgetown University where her deep dive into data storytelling and communications is complemented by her creative and technical skills.
